Genital taste

QUESTION:

your avatar   Mary (18 year-old woman)

My boyfriend performs oral sex on me often. He says every time I taste different, and warned me not to eat broccoli or seaweed. What kinds of foods can I eat to taste as good as possible?

ANSWER:

Robert W. Birch, Ph.D., ACS Certified Sexologist

Even though there is a lot of mythology about the food we eat influencing how a man or a woman tastes, there is no real proof that this is so and it is such a slow and evolved process to get food digested in the stomach, processed in the intestines, converted into blood, transported to the sexual areas, and converted into sexual secretions, I really doubt if foods we eat could influence the way we taste.

Of course you will taste different from time to time. Your taste and aroma will change with your state of cleanliness.... right out of a shower as opposed to right after a night out dancing into the wee hours. Your flavor and smell will also be influenced by where you are in your monthly menstrual cycle, and this might influence the color of your sexual fluids as well. Finally, your level of arousal will effect your sexual essence, for the more aroused you are, the more abundant and "fresh" your lubrication will be.

Want to taste yummy? Then be sure you are nice and clean and very aroused. But humor your boyfriend.... but really, how often do you eat seaweed?
