I just took the depression test and it took me over 40 minutes to complete the 101 questions and i took my time making sure to answer honestly.
At the end of the test i was confronted with a page that did not describe anything close to helpful or even diagnose in short or confirm / not confrim depression.
Following that page, and after clicking on 'view full report' and whilst saying to myself ' yes I'll have a full report please because this short one doesnt tell me jack' i ran into THIS PAGE :

In order to proceed with the secure payment process, you either need to log into your account (if you are already a member) or enter your email address to speed-register (you will receive your login information by email). You will then be redirected to the secure server to process your payment.

if they had mentioned that it was going to cost to see even any result from my efforts then i wouldnt have taken the test in the first place - but of course it didn't - they wanted me to invest my time into the questionairre so that I would feel even more inclined to give them money for the results at the end of answering over 100 questions.

Shameful. Wrong and completely contradictory to the supposed premise of this website.

Hey angry man, I'm sorry you had such a bad time with the test, but your post has shown that at least you still have your sense of humour.  Wink I hope you are ok, don't be too down, i once took that depression test as I was at such a low point in my life, but a couple of years down the line, and I'm a different person, and it is all because of someone I met on this website, so don't be downhearted.  Cheesy

I regret that you are disappointed with our website.  I can assure you that our intention is NOT to trick anybody.

The introduction page does actually say that you will get a snapshot report for free and will have the option to upgrade to full report when you finish the test.

There is also a free abridged version of the assessment:
