To supplement the advice offered in La Chaise Longue, the Counseling Network is a referral service for our visitors in need of one-on-one counseling. We provide the information needed to make an informed choice of a counselor based on factors such as specialty, geographical location and price.
By training, I specialize in relationships, family, parenting, and any relational dynamics. As a licensed professional with 6 years of clinical experience, I have worked with a multitude of issues, but have dealt the most with couples, extended family issues, anxiety, depression, and self-esteem problems.
Therapeutic approach
My theoretical approach is eclectic; I draw from a number of theoretical influences, including cognitive behavioral therapy, Carl Jung, Bowen family therapy, and existential and humanistic theories. I believe in encouraging independence, self-efficacy, and personal growth in my clients.
Counseling format
I offer individual, couples, family therapy face to face; I also offer phone, e-mail, chat, and Skype counseling. I am willing to do distance coaching to any potential client around the world.
Credentials
I have a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy; a California license in Marriage and Family Therapy; and years of experience as a Domestic Violence Treatment Provider, certified by the County of San Diego.
